Analysis of displacements along and close selected project power line track is required along different project phase:
- During the Operations and management phase for monitoring infrastructures displacement, such as pylons or relevant building, as well as to identify in time slow subsidence or landslide phenomena that can have impact on power line operational life cycle;
- Measures are fully tri-dimensional and all measures can be managed in any GIS systems. Achievable accuracy in the velocity estimation is continuously tested vs ground measurements.
PERMANENT SCATTERED ANALYSIS
Our solution enables the detection of slow movements (e.g. slight subsidence, ground movements, landslides) occurring along and close to the powerline by adopting a e-GEOS proprietary processing technology (PSP-IFSAR).
The solution is based on the analysis of time series of SAR satellite data, allowing to measure displacements with millimetre accuracy.
This approach allows to collect displacement measures over points scattered on the territory, with a density that, in urban areas, can exceed 20,000 points per squared kilometer. Therefore this technic can be adopted for controlling the displacements over large extensions, without any kind of ground measurements and instrumentation setting up and maintaining, over every location on the earth.
